Let's be honest, anyone who doesn't understand the basics of margin trading shouldn't be playing with leverage in the first place. 

They try, they get lucky with a couple wins, they get liquidated and lose it all, then they try again to make it all back, and get liquidated again, gambling addiction ensues lol.

In that regard I don’t disagree, but my comment was specifically geared to crypto noobs doing 20-100x leverage trading on crypto without a clue about how it works.

I’m a proponent of it being a tool for intermediate-advanced traders only.

Idk I’ll take the other side of that mentality. 

We need to simplify the concepts of responsible leverage on peoples assets. Most people only have the option to lever via a mortgage or HELOC. This contrasts w the wealthy who are more easily able to leverage all their assets. Educate & remove the barriers
