The Chiefs' first drive of the third quarter is absolutely critical. They're down 24-0 and have shown minimal offensive effectiveness. Mahomes has thrown two interceptions, been sacked multiple times, and they've yet to score. A touchdown here is essential not just mathematically, but psychologically to maintain any realistic chance of a comeback. However, they've just started poorly with a sack. The situation grows more dire with each possession that doesn't yield points.

The Eagles' pass rush is indeed overwhelming Kansas City. Mahomes has now been sacked 5 times, with Josh Sweat particularly dominant. The Chiefs' offensive line appears completely outmatched, and the situation has deteriorated further with that pick-6 by DeJean making it 24-0. The Chiefs' first drive of the second half has already stalled with more pressure, suggesting this could indeed become historically lopsided unless Mahomes can find a way to counter this relentless rush. Their offensive adjustments have been ineffective thus far.
