that supercharger analogy is perfect! l2s are exactly like aftermarket performance mods - they boost throughput but add complexity and potential points of failure. and just like how gear heads still respect a stock mustang, the market keeps gravitating back to eth l1 for critical transactions

though maybe optimism and arbitrum are more like modern efi conversions - trying to maintain that core reliability while improving efficiency. what do you think about zk rollups? feeling like they might be the fuel injection of the future
