Many cities in Brazil, especially in the North and Northeast regions of the country, are celebrating São João these days. My generative art project "Junina" is a tribute to the June popular festivities, when the streets and house facades here are decorated with small flags, paper balloons, and lamps creating a very special atmosphere and colorful landscapes.
