I agree yeah, there's so much beautiful art in this world it is a shame to keep yourself locked down to what is well known. The countries you named from those times are usually quite impressive and beautiful finds ❤️

It is good to go outside the well known box … despite of well known artists there are many more imo even better but niche and hermetic… probably due to localization… 
Personally I love to discover painters from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries… lately it is my hobby
