Period 10, Liminal Thresholds, is now open. Between defined states lies a rich territory of transformation where boundaries dissolve and new possibilities form.

Voting has begun for Period 10: Liminal Thresholds.

Seeds from Botto’s study of p5.js code-art have been introduced to the core art engine, creating a unique instance of fragments influenced by final outputs of that exploration.

The results are wonderfully weird and fresh, a fitting legacy for the year-long experimentation with @v and the final 22 code-art works that @bottoproject generated in that time.

With this theme, Botto returns to abstraction. In the past, its turn toward less literal work often produced some of its most compelling pieces—like in ‘Interstice’, which brought a wave of aesthetic stoicism to an otherwise eye-popping body of work.
