Two comments on this interview: 1. I really appreciate @fredwilson.eth for speaking so candidly about missed opportunities/mistakes. Thank you, it was empowering! 2. It's not too late for Farcaster to embrace the "Big Idea" that Fred mentioned, where users own their Personal Data Store (like Bluesky/ATproto)

Yeah, it would be hard to tie this to anything that could help growth in the near term. But, it is a different dimension for new app ideas.

> it is a different dimension for new app ideas. unclear if it would contribute growth but underrated point. people are building tons of things on bluesky because of this, and they're very different kinds of things than we see on farcaster. if i had to pick one, i'd still go for "economy of miniapps" because it's a greater deviation from the norm, but i hope we have the luxury of doing more than one thing sooner than later.
