Harassment and uncomfortable situations still happen far too often at hackathons, web3 conferences, and community events.
@winprivacy, @web3privacy and @hacker_archives are putting together a Safe Events Toolkit - a practical resource to help organizers, teams, and attendees create and navigate safer, more inclusive spaces. This will include everything from reporting guidance and response strategies, to cultural tips and first-hand insights. It’s not just about policies - it’s about culture, care, and accountability.

This project will be published through Women in Privacy (research + content) and Hacker Archives (distribution + outreach to events), and amplified by Web3Privacy Now with personal and attendee privacy & new ideas for Hackathon use-case generator.
