What is the best bit of advice that you have ever been given? Who gave it to you and how did it impact you?

I remember an old boss of mine told me "the cream always rises to the top". It really stuck with me. The message is that if you work hard to develop your talents then you will eventually rise to the top and be rewarded for your efforts.

The best bit of advice I’ve gotten was from my best friend..
I was at a time in my life where I really struggled because my lip care business was failing so badly. I literally gave up and I thought it was over for me because that was the only business I had to sustain myself in school but my roommate(that’s my bff) told me that I shouldn’t be scared to start all over and keep on trying..
That she believes my business would come back way better and I’ll be fine.
I took her advice cause it made a lot of sense and cause she was my bsf 🫶🏻.


I can tell you for a fact that the advice changed my whole life.

 I got myself together and gave my all. 
And now my business didn’t just come back 10x better but it came back way stronger.

I’m so so grateful for such an advice 🩷.
