After months of hard work, we're excited to announce that Bondi Finance is now live on Our first offering, btGLP, is an issuance by Global Logistic Properties with a $1 billion outstanding volume. Our funding phase investment target is set at $205k, aiming to reach the minimum settlement value and allow fractional exposure to the bond. This week I built several improvements for the Bondi platform based on user feedback: -Optimized mobile responsiveness for a smoother experience. -Enhanced portfolio visibility—investments now appear instantly. -Added animations to clarify the Bond Token (BT) minting process. -Improved bond card design with tooltips for YTM, ISIN, and maturity. -Redesigned the credit score popup for better usability on mobile. This year, we built Bondi Finance on Base. Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far: 1. In October, we won the Base LatAm Buildathon by introducing the first version of our peer-to-peer credit default swap (CDS) market. It lets bond token holders insure their investments directly onchain—a huge step forward for making tools like CDS, which typically trade in million-dollar blocks, accessible to everyday investors. Now, anyone can insure their bond investments. 2. Last week, we rolled out our open beta on the Base Sepolia testnet. We've been gathering feedback from early users, and to say thanks, we’ve been rewarding one user each day with 25 USDC on Base for their insights. democratize.bond 3. We’ve worked hard to simplify bond investing, particularly in emerging market corporate bonds. These usually come with high entry barriers and poor liquidity, but we’ve built a platform that’s approachable and user-friendly.
