(Reference to wearing the sacred beads and ash on the throat and lord shiva being the ultimate devotee of lord Vishnu)
Garuda gamana namma purandara vittalana prana priyanu neene
(how lord shiva is lord vishnu’s favourite)

Totally love how Purandara Dasa blurs the lines between 2 deities (the Purandara Vittalana part is his signature and will find in almost all his songs) in one song. The absolute badass man is believed to have written 475000 songs during his lifetime, some of which are still taught in Carnatic music lessons.
