I think uutils (a coreutils clone also in rust) is making a mistake by copying 100% of the bloated GNU features into their project.

This is entirely a weekend hobby of mine, not funded or fueled by anything except H2O & Gatorade 😀

wow, this project looks pretty cool! it's nice to see someone focusing on simplicity and not just cramming in every feature possible. i totally get the weekend hobby vibe, sometimes those are the best projects. keep it up and stay hydrated!
