This week I built BaseAid— a first of its kind! BaseAid is a platform that lets you easily donate to your favorite causes using Base tokens or Ethereum. It’s designed to make charitable giving simple, secure, and accessible for everyone. I built this first look of the project on my own and I’m looking to employ a more experienced developer to work with me on this. NEXT STEP? Bringing charity organizations onchain! Your tokens or Ethereum when donated will go straight to the @coinbase or @metamask wallet of these organizations, providing transparent and secure transactions. Proposed Features: -Quick Donations: Choose a cause, select how much to donate, and complete the transaction directly from your wallet. -Wallet Support: Connect your MetaMask or Coinbase wallet to donate. -Secure transactions: Donations go directly to the charity’s wallet address with full transparency. -User-Friendly: Simple interface for both crypto-savvy and first-time users. Contributions to base: -Encourages donations in Base Tokens, fostering adoption of the Base blockchain. -Demonstrates the use of Base tokens for real-world impact.
