This week I built: I continued building BaseAid. BaseAid is a groundbreaking platform that redefines charitable giving through the power of blockchain. By leveraging Web3 technologies, the plan is to ensure transparent, secure, and direct donations without intermediaries. Smart contracts automate transactions, providing real-time accountability and minimizing inefficiencies. With every donation recorded immutably, we’re building a future of trust and integrity in philanthropy. In total, we’ve sent emails to over 100 charity organizations to come onchain and partner with BaseAid. This week I built: I started building BaseAid— a first of its kind! BaseAid is a platform that lets you easily donate to your favorite causes using Base tokens or Ethereum. It’s designed to make charitable giving simple, secure, and accessible for everyone. Proposed Features: -Quick Donations: Choose a cause, select how much to donate, and complete the transaction directly from your wallet. -Wallet Support: Connect your MetaMask or Coinbase wallet to donate. -Secure transactions: Donations go directly to the charity’s wallet address with full transparency. -User-Friendly: Simple interface for both crypto-savvy and first-time users. Contributions to base: -Encourages donations in Base Tokens, fostering adoption of the Base blockchain. -Demonstrates the use of Base tokens for real-world impact.
