This week I built BaseAid— a first of its kind! BaseAid is a platform that lets you easily donate to your favorite causes using Base tokens or Ethereum. It’s designed to make charitable giving simple, secure, and accessible for everyone. I built this first look of the project on my own and I’m looking to employ a more experienced developer to work with me on this. NEXT STEP? Bringing charity organizations onchain! Your tokens or Ethereum when donated will go straight to the @coinbase or @metamask wallet of these organizations, providing transparent and secure transactions. This week I built: I continued building BaseAid. BaseAid is a groundbreaking platform that redefines charitable giving through the power of blockchain. By leveraging Web3 technologies, the plan is to ensure transparent, secure, and direct donations without intermediaries. Smart contracts automate transactions, providing real-time accountability and minimizing inefficiencies. With every donation recorded immutably, we’re building a future of trust and integrity in philanthropy. In total, we’ve sent emails to over 100 charity organizations to come onchain and partner with BaseAid. This week I built: I continued building BaseAid— a platform that lets you easily donate to your favorite causes using Base tokens or Ethereum. -Sent over 50 emails to various charity organizations educating them about BaseAid and urging them to come on-chain in other to revolutionize charity-giving as we know it. - Built new features into the platform such as a broader list of charity organizations to donate to. There’s a lot more work to be done, and my current programming skills aren’t enough to help me build what I’m envisioning. However, we keep building! (BaseAid is being built using HTML, CSS and JAVA SCRIPT.) Contributions to base: -Encourages donations in Base Tokens, fostering adoption of the Base blockchain. -Demonstrates the use of Base tokens for real-world impact.
