❌A random, unsustainable, heavily farmed tip distribution game & an unused l3.

✅A dominant crypto culture & widely-distributed meme that‘s contributing to Farcaster & Base’s success, helping with social media curation, enabling quality content producers, kickstarting socialfi apps as speculative currency with its very active onchain / onsocial community.

How to make Degen great?
1️⃣Fix comms to enable community & projects to onboard, chat, share insights without spam (see below) 
2️⃣Fix tipping to leak less value and make it value-add to Degen & FC (Less activity but looking good!)
3️⃣Stay on top of Farcaster (Base+) & get integrated in more apps
4️⃣Onboard Degens via referrals for qDAU, Fun Competitions, Useful/speculative apps with high returns

Bonus: Improve 2 existing products. 🎩Tweak tipping, add tip utility, maybe launch a tip app for more qDAU activity, locking, content discovery
🎩Grow activity on the l3 to onboard more Degens & use Degen

Product wise, I hope /degen could be the #1 coolest tipping layer on FC, rather a L3. @jacek

I genuinely believe you have good strategies on how Degen should pivot for the next growth cycle. Have you sent your proposal to the team(jacek), or are they open to it?

I just see it as a product suite. Tipping is a killer product. The l3 might also become killer product and enabler for many more apps. There will be many more socialfi killer apps. Being on Base offers many advantages for apps right now and imho there‘s no need to force a move to the l3.
