Who really controls Bitcoin? 😶 “Bitcoin is controlled by mining pools.” This FUD resurfaces every cycle, but here’s the truth: Miners secure Bitcoin, they don’t control it. The network’s rules, decentralization, and incentives keep power in check. Let’s break it down—facts over FUD. 👇🚀

The argument goes like this: “Mining pools have too much power. They can control the network, manipulate transactions, or even launch a 51% attack.” This assumption overlooks a key fact: mining pools coordinate, but they don’t control. Miners can switch pools anytime, and economic incentives keep the network secure

Mining pools ≉ Miners Mining pools are coordinators. They combine the computational power of individual miners and distribute rewards But the actual mining hardware (and decision-making) is owned by thousands of individuals globally🌐 Pools are NOT Dictators.

The 2017 Blocksize Wars proved this. Mining pools tried to push changes for their own benefit. What happened ? Nodes and the broader Bitcoin community rejected them Bitcoin’s decentralisation held strong.

Miners follow rules enforced by full nodes. They can’t change the protocol or control the network. If they tried, the economic incentives would destroy their own business. Miners serve Bitcoin because it’s in their best interest.
