It's also pretty bold to end with "if you don't buy our thesis, gtfo". But honestly, that's pretty true in most cases. At the earliest stage you bet simply on the founder for accelerator/angel checks. Once you get to a multi-million dollar round, you need investors who trust your insights and buy your thesis.
