Well google is bigger than 99% of governments on earth. and it's also using their dominant position to push their shitty Adgenda with the Manifest v3 stuff for browser extensions breaking most of the ad blockers. so maybe they could use some good ole' regulation to be put in place when microsoft was told to unbundle IE nobody batted an eye

That is up to consumers and users to choose different projects and stop using their software. People should be the deciding factor, not the government. Chromium can easily be forked and maintained by a different entity. Plus consumers are already moving away from Chrome to other browsers like Brave.
