A couple months back Airstack launched channel moderation tools. We did so because we new moxie and fan tokens were coming and we wanted to make sure there was an option to moderate channels based on Fan Token holders and we didn’t know if anyone else would do so if we didn't ourselves.  

when we launched Moxie @jtgi @automod stepped up immediately to enable channel moderation with fan tokens. That’s amazing! 

Our entire focus at Airstack + Moxie is to enable the farcaster economy to thrive and we have no desire to compete with any devs building on moxie. 

@jtgi has ensured me that he’s in it for the long term with singular focus. 

Therefore. 

We will be sunsetting Airstack channel mod and moving everyone to automod — the best solution for moderating your farcaster channel. 

If you are using Airstack channel mod we will work with you to make this easy and painless.

That seems like a smart choice, i've been a happy user of automod.

Big channel owners won't have it easy, as airstack's moderation tools was still free and automod has some limitations around that.

(i think it's paid if more than X requests/moderations or something)
