Go seems to be more beginner friendly in that it does a lot for you, whereas Rust teaches you how to do those things yourself. e.g. Go does a lot of memory management behind the scenes, and Rust has more of a focus on security and performance.

Depends on your goals but they’re both great languages, both have strengths and weaknesses, and learning either has a strictly positive expected value outcome IMO. Agreed with Go being easier to learn but don’t let that limit you!
