What could be the true value of an ens domain like Textile.eth ?

typically there is wholesale value and then retail value

imho if you are looking to sell it quick, it won't fetch much - maybe 0.3 eth if you are lucky

however there may be some retail value here because i see there is a crypto  company textile.io

Yes, i agree, these names are appealing for a more specific number of people/companies. Digits are currently more the wholesale division of the ens ecosystem. I personally like specific names more that are related to brands, industries or just great identifiers.Never heard of textile.io but i will check it out, thanks!

yes, nailed it and i like generic names like those as well

digits definitely have liquid value which is nice, even in the web2 world they do as well (in .com tld specifically)
