On the almost isolated island of Inishelin, there is cold and humid air, cliffs and howling waves, as well as the banshee who floats around and harvests souls. People seem to be bound by the earth and must live here, coexisting with bad weather, sticky clothes, poor life, and narrow-minded concepts.
The strange enough banshee carries the mysterious veil of Irish mythology, coupled with asymptomatic existential thinking, blurring the original plot and adding a unique charm to the film.
