Maybe everyone already knows this and I’m dumb. But USDC purchases are free on Coinbase, transferring to Base with USDC also free, buying crypto on Dex’s has much lower fees than on a CEX with near immediate “settlement”. Why would I ever buy crypto on Coinbase ever again? Is there a misalignment here?

Based knowledge for degens but most retail buyers prefer CEX due to belief of it being safer and they usually don’t understand how crypto wallets work in general
