"I don't like to read books" is not a smart proclamation to make out loud. Even if true, grapple with that inadequacy in private until you win. 

Even if you've found a way to make money without being studious, you'd soon find things you want, that only a sound mind can unlock.

Much like a fit body, sophistication cannot be bought, only earned through curiosity, discipline and diligence. Teach your kids this.
