One aha I’ve had reading about quantum computing is that everything I’ve read is written in terms where it’s the quantum thingumy driving the computation, not the concept of user input in and user usable output, out. So I’m on a mission to get to the latter terms, not drown in the prior.

So basically you're more interested in how user inputs are handled and results are made.

Good question.  How about - quantum or not, a computer works for humans and we put something into it, it runs a program another human wrote, and we want a result out of it another human wants to use. So, show me how I put things in, how I program the logic, and get the result. Happy to start with 1+1=2.
