An Ethereum wallet that has housed a significant portion of cryptocurrency history has made a surprising move after nearly a decade of inactivity. The wallet, which is associated with an Ethereum Initial Coin Offering (ICO) participant, transferred a small amount of Ethereum to a new wallet earlier today, marking the end of a 9.4-year dormancy period.
According to Lookonchain, the wallet in question was created during the Ethereum ICO, one of the most important milestones in blockchain history. In 2015, the wallet received 1,940 Ethereum during the Genesis block allocation, which at the time bought only $601.
