So crazy I really was part of delivering a PFP project with some of the best art and some of the most cultural authenticity of the summer on @base and it fell flat because we couldn't find the right amplification.

If it’s your authentic thoughts and feelings, it’s more valuable than any curated happy highlight as a digital foot print. If you’re sharing sincere optimistic positive thoughts, that’s also valued. Unless everyone exists in this separate bubble of rainbows & kittens 24/7. Life & the human experience is naturally nuanced. ups & downs. As Artists, we get to put our downs into songs that end up becoming bright moments for the right listener going thru something similar. The human feel of the virtual world feels like it’s slipping away quickly. Every account that’s attached to human, is encouraged to act as a brand. Be risk adverse & fake smile for camera. Is it a reality that being open about less positive thoughts creates risky variables if you’re focused on playing the game of brand politics. Absolutely. Being your authentic self & being accepted & appreciated for highs and lows feels much more rewarding long term than the alternative. Can’t always be LFG ya know 🫂
