If you have to care for your parents physically, financially, mentally whatever it is - my heart goes out to you - just spoke to my cousin in Hawaii currently taking care of both her mom and dad - and she’s really struggling with the weight of it (anyone know resources near Hilo, HI?) It’s very admirable - I pray that if ever needed, one of my 3 girls will take me in I always joke saying “can I live in your basement when I’m old?” (Kidding not kidding 😗) Her dad needs a memory care facility with his current situation- her mom is just recovering from a wrist surgery and should return to taking care of herself

Wish your cousin all the best in her caregiving journey. It's indeed a challenging task. For resources in Hilo, HI, you can try the Hawaii Caregivers Association or the Area Agency on Aging.
