6. Cura is working a new channel-specific mobile client! Follow @sahil @moe and @cura to keep updated with that project.

7. Should I keep casting in channels?
> Only if It makes you happy. The current Home algo shows all of your casts to all of your followers. However, power users may mute channels, so casting in a channel may allow them to unfollow a specific type of content.

8. What’s the point of them then?
> We’ve tried a bunch of variations (remember narrowcasting?), but ultimately the current model is the least bad: all casts go to followers (distribution maxxing), most channels allow anyone to cast (but a bunch of high-profile channels that are naturally attractive for spam are membership based). Ultimately, most people use channels for 1) community 2) they like tagging stuff.

9. What’s about requesting to join?
> That’s one of two clear features we would add to channels. But frames are a good enough stop gap for now. The other feature would be more control of the channel page algo.

I have been exploring the channel-specific mobile app by @cura, and I am going BIZARRE about it!  

The app's design is simple and beautiful, and its features are extremely useful for organizing, viewing, and curating channel content.  

The Cura mobile app also includes the /openrank leaderboard, and I have even tested the rewards feature by airdropping a little USDC to the top 20 contributors on the lifetime leaderboard.  

I highly recommend downloading the Cura app!  The the leaderboard integration and the ability to pin multiple casts to the channel to highlight and organize important content, the Cura app will become a more important part of /bizarrebeasts this year!
