Several NBA All-Stars are excited by the idea of holding Nouns – These athletes were onboarded by NBA Skills Trainer Drew Hanlen (instagram.com/drewhanlen), @wmw, and myself, who resonate with the ethos of Nouns and their dedication to public goods. We’re eager to connect with DAO members to facilitate direct sales or donations through /cares, helping these players acquire treasury-held Nouns thoughtfully selected to reflect their personalities and interests. @4156 @seneca @nounishprof @toadyhawk.eth ✨🌼

Are you saying you want them to be able to buy treasury Nouns?

Correct—ideally, we can work out a price based on the current floor prices we’re seeing.

Smart play, I was wondering when someone was going to bring that idea to live!

This is just an idea for now, but based on recent conversations, I would love to see a pipeline where nounders or nouncil support and guide special cases and partnerships. For /cares, this includes helping partners maximize their noun(s) while staying connected with the DAO (imagine opportunities like the Budweiser noun and what could have been). Beyond sparking interest, we could create a clear, accessible path for people to join the DAO—whether by donating to the treasury, purchasing a noun directly (at or near floor price), or avoiding the steep learning curve of auctions and proposals. The Cares vision for noun onboarding = Acting as a concierge service to welcome friends, partners, and sponsors into the DAO. By simplifying special cases and partnerships and keeping folks engaged, we create a more seamless, lasting pathway into and with nouns.
