polygon and optimism are other possible choices

Totally, back in January (when we decided to build on Solana) the wallets/UX of Polygon/Optimism didn't feel as strong as Solana (optimism TX are still pretty pricy). Onboarding non-crypto people is a goal for us and that seemed easier without explaining L1/L2 to users

But I'm not a L1 maxi, just want to build one whatever tools make it easiest (and secure) for people to put money behind the things the care about

Always love a different perspective, very easy to become religious about technology without that!

yea solana has done a good job making a very wallet friendly UI and good experience. you know your product/users better than me so tbh who cares what I think
