The modified listing date is very necessary. 
There are over 40m eligible users, but only 6m have deposited their DOGS to exchanges. There was a day+ left to claim $DOGS prior to the extended date.

In a nutshell, over 70%+ haven't deposited their rewards to exchanges or tg wallet, and it's obvious they needed more time to do so.

I no blame anybody. A lot of people no trust Bybit. Hence, they are reluctant to send their DOGS to Bybit. OKX has restricted a lot of regions too.
Probably, that's the major reason they included Bitget, and more exchanges will be added in due time
