According to Cryptoslate, the Russian State Duma passed a bill legalizing Bitcoin mining and allowing cryptocurrencies to be used for international trade. The bill is expected to take effect on September 1. The bill allows the sale of mined cryptocurrencies, but prohibits their use for domestic payments and prohibits cryptocurrency advertising.
