Something I noticed watching kids:

When they make mistakes, they think it’s hilarious. So weird! Well that went wrong. When older humans make mistakes, they are sometimes ashamed, embarrassed or blame others, rarely think it’s funny 

I hope to laugh more when at my own future mistakes

There's also intrigue, wonder, or curiosity alongside hilarity. Conducive to learning and growth.

Whereas adults tend to have lost such innocence; And ignorance, confusion, fear... become the focus instead, which they spread to kids and the cycle of underdevelopment compounds and continues.
