Picked up some radios for the boy and his best friend a few houses down the street to be able to talk to each other tomorrow night on Christmas Eve

Comes in crystal clear down the street from each other’s house 

Cannot begin to explain how cool it is to hear that crackle to life and see my son light up as his best friend suddenly comes in on the walkie talkie at any given moment

I still remember that golden era of walkie talkie.
