Your feed is set to priority
Try adjusting to "Home" feed

I don’t even want to see all my priority stuff let alone non priority, what benefit does home offer haha

Sorry, actually, there are two areas to check, bit rusty.

Try this:

1)  Removing "priority" notifs for same reason mentioned previously
2)  Play with/toggle the "home" vs. "following" for your feed settings

This is from mobile app not computer.

Home feed based on people/channels you follow vs. randomized /prioritized feed based on trending, make sense?

Feels like "home" and removes extra noise.

Could also consider adding keywords to block to limit targeted undesirable content.
