most consistent theme with people criticizing the contentcoin thesis is that they haven't downloaded the @zora app

it's a beautiful consumer product, we need more experimentation, and you shouldn't knock it till you try it

The perspective left out of the room is that of the onchain explorers that were priced out of the great platform experiments. So many artists, musicians, and writers are simply not interested in the mechanics of it all...and why should they be when we aren't at least trying to solve for what's best for their medium.

Until we can figure out new flows for how to release a record or how to publish a book, we can't expect to onboard creators whose actual careers are defined by the ideas they are able to express to the world audience...and the answer isn't just to simply onboard the record labels or publishing houses, though that would be a good place to start. 

BASE is for Business and that's not necessarily a bad thing! The Business of Creators in 2025 is worth examining and having open discussions about. 

So, let's continue to onboard the coffee shops + taco stands. Let's extend that to the skate shops + record stores + flower shops. Let's just give the creators a break. We are all tired.
