š„ SEC Files Appeal in Lawsuit Against Ripple (XRP) š¢ The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially filed an appeal against the previous court ruling in its 4-year-long lawsuit involving Ripple and the sale of XRP. š¢ Earlier, the SEC's request for a temporary appeal was denied, and Ripple was fined $125 million, significantly less than the initial $2 billion penalty sought by the SEC.
