yes yess Gaspard is 8 and just starting his collection. His little brother is still too young, but they often look through the Pokémon catalog together

But you’ve never opened the big boxes ? Are you keeping them to sell later ? They must be worth a fortune 🤯 I usually buy booster packs at the local newsstand, do you think it’s better to keep doing that, or should I buy in larger quantities ?

I bought these when I was at a point of being a bit overwhelmed with the quantity of opened cards i had without a clear direction of what I was doing with them so i left them sealed. Pokémon was in the bear phase so i was just buying if i came across deals and would stash to decide what to do later. What i learned from it..

I decided I would collect sealed based on exclusivity like Pokémon center ETB’s. Price of each individual pack, so booster boxes (36 packs) or a case of booster boxes 216 packs to drive price under $3 USD per pack Most collection boxes only really increase in value with popular pokemon, think like s tier in popularity which imo
