I actually enjoyed Megalopolis!

it was a bit more on the nose than I prefer, but that's how dystopian movies go. idk what anyone has to complain about...

it felt like a play, seems that was intentional so I didn't have any issues with that at all

Every single review from a friend has me feeling vindicated!!!

I'm unemployed so people hating this movie is my villain origin story. 

I loved that the tone, pace, and script were like a play. I think Coppola wrote this for a more intelligent world tbh. Social media has atrophied our brains.

oh I so agree with this and was thinking the EXACT same thing the whole time. it's actually very smart. future cult film

I can't wait to see it again. I'm traveling so will wait to see it in a new city (very excited)
