According to Anton Gorelkin, a Russian political figure and Deputy of the State Duma, with Bitcoin priced around $100,000, tax revenues from mining are estimated to reach approximately 35bn rubles ($340m) annually. The majority of this amount would benefit the budgets of regions where mining operations are concentrated.
