It’s just over time the form of the writing changes not necessarily the writing itself 

I’ve seen it in others but not myself

tbf I think 99.99% of people stick with the same handwriting they learn in grade school due to daily computer use.

The exceptional 0.01% (probably less honestly) are for the calligraphers of the world
