after a few years full time crypto since transitioning from the family office space, i still feel culture shock re: most family offices earned their wealth through insane sacrifice to build a company VS most of (loud) crypto earned it by being early to click a button to me FC feels like the former, not the latter

Would this narrative change if Farcaster launched a token?

I feel when a token launches and people become bullish almost obsessive (especially because of the utility farcaster will be able to offer), the team may feel compelled to have to satisfy said holders rather than the focus and dedication a family office puts to developing their product.

Yeah I guess they wouldnā€™t be much difference I was looking at the culture of FC likened to that of a family office rather than saying family offices build products
