It will be it’s own chain just matter of time(with eth security and eigen, celestia da) — right now it’s on optimism

Why would it need alt da?

I think the goal is to replace at minimum CT. So more users, more load, more fees, right now if I am not mistaken there is some fee subsidy from base (at least was to some projects and mints) this will not be the case in future.

not true we ran a bit of a signup thing with Coinbase wallet but that’s it. Farcaster check out the diagram above to see the architecture, not everything needs to be onchain

Ya but do you think farcaster will not have competition and “sufficiently decentralized” will be enough forever?

no I just don’t think the way people think of other chain apps apply here I can interact with any chain via farcaster eventually, it won’t matter where the registrations happen BUT, you want to be on ethereum for maximal benefit, because: https://warpcast.com/gaard/0xf0abdeb3

In bull market time will come (which will test this thesis) when base (optimism) will have relatively high fee as many people are using at the same time not because they are using farcaster but they are using Y defi app or A mint, at that time the question will arise. For now, let’s agree to disagree. 69.42 $Degen
