https://optimism.mirror.xyz/RGW8X3ZWkLxCS4kc3eM7m1uHsAd5DXCD5AICzIIC7OQ this will let innovations from each chain compound while still leaving room for opinionated blockspace - tokens from chain A can be used on an app on chain B without manually bridging this opens up new design spaces - smart contracts can seamlessly flow through chains; you can have an everywhere app - bridging is like having to switch your WiFi network everytime you use a new website (bridge, add RPC etc it’s all so tiresome) — this will KILL that experience because you won’t need to switch networks - ushers in the concept of gas abundance; if we are to have something like fortnite onchain we need multiple concurrent rollup systems to be spun up; interoperability allows for those concurrent systems to be connected — eg if you need more blockspace, just spin up a new instance of a chain. This is a couple years out prob Cool to see the superchain continue to push the boundaries & be prepared for the future. One superchain.
