people are glossing over the fact that coinbase just saved a mainstream company $12K on a $500K purchase because they used USDC and avoided middleman fees. 

now imagine larger value transfers being settled onchain

as a customer, I can pay via a credit card and get cash back / ability to chargeback / a free 60 day loan or I could pay via USDC and get none of that
