tariffs are rising,
trust in systems is fading,
and investors are trapped in portfolios tied to nations.

but one asset class was designed for this shift: 

crypto is geographically neutral capital

here’s why that matters now more than ever ↓

equities are built on global dependencies:

cheap labor, raw materials, shipping lanes, and stable policy

tariffs break those links

with equities; you don’t just lose margin: you lose predictability.

crypto doesn’t rely on any of that
it doesn’t import parts
it doesn’t pay tariffs
it doesn’t answer to any trade agreement

its value isn’t with nations; it’s with networks.

look back at the nixon shock in the 70s:

- tariffs imposed
- fiat volatility unleashed
- inflation climbs, stocks fall

but, gold rips. 

when trust in monetary systems break; neutral assets thrive.

crypto is gold + an unstoppable internet with bandwidth

- portable
- programmable
- instant

and it’s not just a commodity it’s an exit ramp

it is a settlement layer that ignores borders

fiat assets inherit political risk
equities inherit supply chain risk
sovereign bonds inherit debt risk

crypto inherits none of it

it’s the only major asset class that clears outside the fiat stack

crypto is not exposed to fx manipulation or trade wars

it’s borderless by default

bitcoin doesn’t get tariffed & ethereum doesn’t have a supply chain

(in fact, Ethereum IS the supply chain, a credibly neutral one, but that’s for another thread)

this doesn’t mean crypto is immune to market shocks !! 

it just means its value long term doesn’t depend on:

- trade policy
- central bank trust
- fiscal solvency
- import taxes

those things are breaking. 

crypto is not.

today, tariffs are back:

- currencies are shaky
- debt is piling
- governments are getting more controlling

in that world: holding only nation bound capital is riskier than ever.

you don’t have to like tariffs

but you should understand what they signal

when governments start closing doors,
you want to own assets that exist outside the building.

crypto isn’t just a trade, it’s a position
on a future where trust is earned by protocol, not politics.

the world is fragmenting and the internet is unifying.

the monetary system you choose now decides what you’re exposed to next.

and i’m choosing neutrality,

i’m choosing crypto.

when countries turn inward
capital gets stuck

- tariffs hit supply chains
- currencies get manipulated
- sovereign debt spirals
- cross border flows freeze

most assets suffer

yes, but crypto isn't like before

in fact, it's actually super tied to US economy nowadays

isn't it?
