Completely nailed it. Basecamp and FEST marked an important moment, an inflection point when the way ahead became a lot clearer. This should be minted.

As a psychologist, this is my favorite line from the article. It's a good read, I'm feeling the equivalent of fomo for something that has already happened. Domo? Depression of missing out

Enjoyed this theory of opinionated versus neutral blockspace. That is probably the section that will stick with my thinking the most walking away from this article

I appreciate this. I think the culture section is the strongest and the tough questions is also strong. If you want some real feedback for improvement...I would love to see an article like this that would be more "outsider" friendly. I understand you are writing for CoinDesk and who you are writing for. ๐Ÿซก But even so, I think this could be written for the web3 curious. This jumps right in with insider language and concepts and near the end moves to more outsider friendly ideas. Maybe outsider friendly is a separate article but I'd like to see it in articles for CoinDesk and similar. Much more could be said....Don't take this as harsh critique. Just trying to be useful to you and always improving. I like the article. ๐Ÿ‘Š

The vision you have of interoperability is in my opinion correct, mostly users do not stay in a rigid system that does not allow them to adapt to their style and needs, i What you raise about neutrality on the ground is also an important point to support the proposal.
