yeah I’m mainly getting at what works better long term in growing an eco 

the novel way (which is pro community sense to be) 

1) community first 
2) and then product 
3) such that the  community can enjoys the products upside and evangelizes it etc with a higher long term upside target

It's unclear atm. 

My hypothesis is community-first will become the norm since it can be done 10x cheaper and with less risk.

The opportunity today is to be intentional about community formation, with the end product(s) in mind.

Not enough time has passed yet to see the story completely play out.
