one of the most annoying things in crypto UX is trying to connect your wallet to a site and not seeing the one you use as an option. there should be a way to connect with *any* wallet instead of having to click a specific logo —> please just give us one thing to click.

I blame the middleware providers ethers.js and other libs provide an agnostic way to trigger provider and signer but instead of making that standard everyone uses the "pick wallet" UX flow when you could eliminate that with a few checks and a switch case

I think some specific wallet modals do it that way, RainbowKit shows your wallet that you use up in the front for example

a huge issue is mobile wallet connect standards, its just easier to support only the top wallets where the innovation is happening with smaller wallets. only so much time to focus

Or when you've got both Rabby and Metamask and you never know which one will pop up when you sign (the Rabby switch doesn't always work).

but there will be multiple wallets anyhow, there cannot be one. For evm yes, but for aptos and other ecosystems there has to be something else.
