Like a rollercoaster, parenting is full of unexpected turns and twists, as well as the occasional scream that can wake the neighbors. My toddler asked if we could have a pet dragon just yesterday. On the condition that they clean up after it and teach it not to roast marshmallows in the living room, I said yes.
